first_imgO’Neills are seeking to recruit potential candidates for vacant positions in their Sales and Marketing departments. Job Description: Export Sales RepresentativeJob title Export Sales Representative (1 year contract) Reporting to: Export ManagerKey Responsibilities• Look after customers from a certain region and/or customer type as agreed with Export Manager;• Answer all export customer enquiries within 24 h from receipt; • Provide accurate information about O’Neills products, services, production turnaround, brand etc to export customers;• Organising personalised designs for products that customers are interested in and any further amendments required till the design of the product is finalised and ready for production;• Provide price estimates based on product type, size breakdown and quantity;• Guide and support export customers into confirming details for an order – ie confirmation of design and quantities/size ;• Provide final invoice for customer when the order is confirmed and send for approval with all available payment options; • Provide customer with clear information about what it is required from them (ie order confirmation, payment, delivery details, approval of any new embrodieries etc) and what we can do for them ( ie estimate dispatch time, updates on order progress, tracking information for shipped orders etc)• Chase payment and delivery details for orders if this information was not confirmed when the order was processed in production.• Organise order details – design, quantities/sizes, any relevant product or production details, required delivery date and send to Export Production Team for processing and scheduling;• Liaise with export production team for updates on order status, any enquiries, changes etc • Liaise with Export Manager to agree on strategy for development of sales & marketing operating procedures;• Maintaining a thorough existing export customer database;• Coordinating the implementation of advertising and promotional campaigns for export events;• Organise product offers to promote sales to allocated customer base;• Conduct a customer satisfaction survey (2-3 weeks after dispatch date) to receive feedback from customers;• Help with development of indirect sales development as/when needed;• Producing reports regarding export sales/customers/products ;• Provide cover for sales staff while travelling on business or holidaysExperience & Skills Required• Degree in Business Studies preferred International Business;• A minimum of 1 years’ experience gained in a dynamic sales environment, with preference focusing on export sales;• Proficiency in Spanish speaking, preferable.• An intimate knowledge of sales operating procedures;• Knowledge of international sales environment and requirements;• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data exchanged with customer and production team;• Working in a dynamic environment while coordinating closely with Export Manager, other sales staff and export production team departments to ensure that export orders are confirmed, processed, paid and dispatched in time;• Knowledge of CRM databases used to support account management and export business development activity. Personal AttributesAttributeEssentialDesirableDegree in Business Studiesü Work experience in salesü Work experience in export environment üAdvertising/promotion activity knowledgeü Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data processedü Working knowledge of CRM/Microsoft Office Applicationsü Tenacity and Confidenceü Ability to work independently üExcellent interpersonal & communication skillsü Problem solving skillsü Work as part of the teamü Proficiency in Spanish speakingü Organizational & time management skillsü EducationPriority will be given to the relevant experience, track record and attributes of the candidates.Working HoursMon-Thurs 9.00 am- 5.30 pm, Fri 9.00 am- 3.00 pmRemunerationA competitive remuneration package is available to the successful candidate. The contract is for 12 months with possibility of extension.Job Title: Export Marketing Coordinator (Full-Time/Permanent)Reporting to: Export ManagerKey Responsibilities1. To contribute to the strategic planning of an annual or long term marketing plan to drive forward agreed export objectives;2. To manage the production of marketing materials, including brochures, leaflets, posters, newsletters and flyers. This also involves writing and proofreading copy, and liaising with designers and printers;3. To write and distribute press releases relevant to export activity;4. To arrange for the effective distribution of export marketing materials;5. To maintain, build and update export customer mailing databases;6. To organise and attend export events and exhibitions;7. To carry out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness ;8. To evaluate marketing campaigns;9. To monitor competitor activity;10. To support the Export Manager, and other export colleagues in day to day activity as required;11. Ensure that company policies are adhered to at all times within the department;12. Any other reasonable duties requested.Required Experience1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, business, economics or a related field2. A minimum of 2 years’ of related experience3. Knowledge of international marketing and business practices, preferable;4. Proficiency in French speaking, preferable.5. Excellent organizational and planning skills with demonstrable experience of managing multiple tasks6. Able to perform calmly under pressure with conflicting demands; must be able to prioritise conflicting tasks to achieve tight deadlines7. Strong team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, able to work with people at all levels in the organization8. Excellent verbal and written communication9.
